There are multiple ways to do System Validation before Tape-Out. Prototyping and Emulations are commonly used methods to achieve this. Approaches taken depend on the schedule, maturity, and complexity of the design. The closest system validation environment can be achieved by prototype systems using FPGAs. At 7Rays Semiconductors, we enable end-to-end FPGA design for integration into board and system-level products. Our team specializes in Engineering requirements analysis, architecture development, IP selection, micro-architecture design, RTL design, and verification with advanced UVM-based methodologies. FPGA implementation, area optimization, and timing closure are our strengths.
In the Custom SoC space, this step is important to get confidence in functionality and performance. At 7Rays Semiconductors, we can enable our customers to take this step before Tape-Out for their Custom Silicon Solution. This step also enables early development of software/firmware for the product.
Once the chip has arrived after Silicon Testing/Bring-Up, an evaluation board will be built to check the functionality and performance of the system. This enables our customer to demonstrate their product capabilities to the outside world. We support building Custom Software as well for better optimizations to achieve desired results through our technology partners.
